The Grand Dining Room

Vintage photographs depict the Grand Dining Room with wooden chairs set around linen draped tables clustered by the great stone hearth fireplace. The windows provided sensational views of the rugged Sierra terrain. The luxury and formality of a vacation at the Inn was assured by a proper dress code. In essence, guests dressed to the "nines" when they went to dine, and the wait staff donned double-breasted jackets and pleated trousers, and were there for the guest's every need.

With motifs of large plumes and landscapes painted on the walls, the Feather River Inn's Grand Dining Room offered more than just a meal to its guests. It was a dining experience. Guests were served on fine china with a setting of silver cutlery. They drank from crystal flutes and enjoyed decadent cuisine.
