Feather River Inn Launches A Historic Look For Its Redesigned Website

A new version of the historic Feather River Inn website was launched by the Feather River Inn Marketing Department on Monday, March 20, 2006. While Feather River Inn itself is undergoing a massive renovation project, the new web site will document the process by featuring photographs, news stories, video and Flash presentations.

The web site consists of four “mini-sites” with historical content that will both inform and entertain visitors. Special features include an animated timeline that details some of the Inn’s major historical achievements; factoids that contain historical tidbits; an animated slide show and a series of ongoing photo journals.

The completion of the website represents several months of hard work, research and creative design. “This website tells the story,” said Patty Clawson, Director of Marketing and Public Relations. “There was such an overwhelming response from people who submitted historic photographs and postcards. It’s apparent there is a great affection for Feather River Inn because it comes through visually with each and every image.”

The new website chronicles the Inn’s renovation, while documenting the colorful history of a turn-of-the-century resort synonymous with the virtue of relaxation.
